Installing Guardian on Your Phone

Guardian can be added to your phone’s home screen for quick access to routines, family dialogue, and household settings — like a regular app, without visiting the app store.

Android (Chrome)

1. Sign in to Guardian in Chrome on your phone.
2. When the Add Guardian to your home screen banner appears at the bottom, tap Install.
3. If you do not see the banner, open the browser menu (⋮) and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

Safari does not show a one-tap install button. Use Apple’s share menu instead:

1. Sign in to Guardian in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button (square with an arrow).
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Confirm the name Guardian, then tap Add.

Guardian opens in full-screen mode from your home screen, separate from the browser tab bar.

Tips

• Install prompts appear on mobile-sized screens and can be dismissed for seven days.
• After installing, open Guardian from the home screen icon — not an old browser bookmark — for the best experience.
• Guardian keeps admin data fresh: only the app shell is cached offline; your family data always loads from the server when connected.
